Lolita Fierro Director of Development

Lolita Fierro is a donor relations and fundraising strategist with nearly ten years of experience working in the arts. Since joining Art21 in 2016, she has been a critical member of the team producing the organization’s first-ever gala, reinvigorating the events calendar, and instituting a travel program. She has worked closely with staff and board to develop a strategic plan that incorporates diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) values across the organization. As director of development, Lolita oversees all aspects of Art21’s fundraising and advancement initiatives.

Prior to joining Art21, Lolita worked at ArtTable, a national organization for women professionals in the arts, where she managed membership and annual giving programs and planned special events, and at the Chinati Foundation in Marfa, TX, assisting with membership and annual giving programs and the capital campaign for a new permanent installation by American artist Robert Irwin. She holds B.A.s from the University of Texas at El Paso in graphic design, marketing, and art history, and is an alumnus of the altMBA program and New York City’s DCLA Leadership Accelerator. Lolita, aka Lola, grew up in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, and lives in Queens, NY.
