Join Art21 for a special screening and conversation with sculptor and performance artist Aki Sasamoto. The artist will be joined by documentary filmmakers Rafael Salazar and Ava Wiland of RAVA Films, who recently directed the Art21 New York Close Up film, Aki Sasamoto: An Artist Walks into a Bar.

Following a screening of the film, Art21’s director of video programming, Nick Ravich, will moderate a conversation between Sasamoto, Wiland and Salazar, exploring the relationship and creative collaboration between artist and documentarian.
