Art21 Magazine ran from 2013–2019 publishing four times per year devoted to a single theme. Led by Art21’s Executive Director and Chief Curator Tina Kukielski, each issue’s articles and essays were carefully selected to connect to both the theme at hand and to broader conversations happening in the art world and the world at large.

From 2014-2017, Art21 and CUE Art Foundation facilitated a joint fellowship for emerging writers. This collaborative program provided writers with the opportunity to develop new writing for publication in print and online.
