Max Blecker Editor and Colorist

Max Blecker is an Editor and Colorist born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. After graduating with a BFA in film from the Film Conservatory at Purchase College, he began working in independent film as an Assistant Editor on Godfrey Reggio’s Visitors (2013) and has been fortunate to work with other legendary filmmakers like Mira Nair on Queen of Katwe (2016), and Martin Scorsese on Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story by Martin Scorsese (Netflix, 2019). His editing work includes Netflix’s screwball comedy special Oh Hello: On Broadway (2018), socially resonant documentaries about education such as Best Shot (2018 IDA Award Nominee), I Promise (2020 Tribeca Official Selection), and Hulu’s limited series about a family’s decades-long search for justice: Where Is Private Dulaney (2022).
