Christine Turner Director

Christine Turner is a filmmaker based in New York. Her critically-acclaimed documentary, Homegoings, about a funeral director in Harlem, premiered at Documentary Fortnight at MoMA and was broadcast nationally on the PBS series, POV. Christine’s short fiction films have screened at festivals internationally, including Sundance and Tribeca. As a director and producer, Christine also collaborates on non-fiction series and documentary specials for television. Recent directing credits include the “Dead is Better” episode for HBO’s Lenny. Christine also produced the finale episode of CNN’s original series, Tricky Dick.
