Join Art21 for a special film screening and conversation with Susan Philipsz. Recently featured in Season 9 of Art21’s Art in the Twenty-First Century series, Philipsz explores the psychological and sculptural dimensions of sound, creating reworked musical compositions that respond to the architecture and history of specific spaces.
Guests are invited to preview Philipsz’s exhibition, A Single Voice, one day prior to its public opening. A screening of Philipsz’s segment from Art in the Twenty-First Century will be followed by a conversation with the artist.
