Maggie Albert Associate Director of Development and External ​Relations​

Maggie Albert joins ART21 after most recently serving the Institutional Development team at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum for the past several years. At the Guggenheim, she managed a portfolio of foundations and government agencies in support of the institution’s arts education initiatives, mobile app, and general operating needs. She was also instrumental in organizing the Director’s Annual Reception, a high-level event for museum funders, and managed the department’s prestigious internship program. Previously, Maggie worked in the performing arts in New York City for the Lark Play Development Center, and served as a Board member for Roots and Wings Theatrical.

Maggie graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 2010 with a BA in Economics and while in school worked for local non-profit arts organizations, including the Connecticut Ballet, The Buttonwood Tree Performing Arts and Cultural Center, and The Children’s Museum.
