Adaeze Dikko Development and Administrative Assistant
Adaeze Dikko joined Art21 in March 2022 as the Development and Administrative Assistant. Believing that arts spaces are one of our world’s most powerful tools for facilitating community celebration, education, and healing, Adaeze has worked towards increased access and inclusivity within museums and arts organizations for over three years. Prior to joining Art21, they worked for museums like The Thomas Cole National Historic Site as a research and interpretation consultant regarding the sensitive reconstruction of narratives for historically marginalized Cedar Grove residents and laborers. Additionally, Adaeze has worked for arts organizations like Site Projects | New Haven where she supported donor relations, community-centered programming, special events production, and office operations.
Adaeze is also the co-founder of The Hidden Prompt – a collective that curates physical and virtual spaces centering radical transparency around little-discussed, everyday realities. The Hidden Prompt’s latest initiative is Progression | Regression, a COVID-responsive community archive and exhibition.
Adaeze holds BAs in Africana Studies and Political Science, from Tufts University, where they studied literature, political history, and art history of the African Diaspora.
